You're both agreeing with each other. You're both saying it makes no difference, however you peel them off. No need for this to come to blows, guys. Mark Deeks is the one you want to fight.

Edit - Really unlucky that this came up at the top of a new page after I decided not to bother quoting.

It was only relatively late in life that I found out that you don't have to eat round a pear in the same way you have to with an apple. Once you've taken off the very top bit with the stalk, you can actually eat straight down from the top - the core bit is actually very small and only at the bottom of the pear. The bit you're left with at the end will be much smaller than the core of an apple.

I only started a couple of years ago, it's great cause you don't have to carry around the core until you eventually find a bin

You know apple seeds contain a compound that the body converts into cyanide, right?

Mind you, I think you'd have to eat about a million seeds within a few hours to poison yourself that way, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I used to work with a guy from Guyana who ate everything on fruit veg and fish including fish and prawn heads.
I still peel shrimps and won't eat apple skins. Though I do eat potato skins

That's a bit of an unnecessarily syllable-heavy first line so I've changed it a bit:

I worked with a guy from Guyana,
He had a big thing with banana,
He'd eat them all day,
He'd eat them each way,
Even ways that were banned in Montana!

Nice, but I think it could be more on topic.

I worked with a guy from Guyana,
Who liked to eat a banana
He avoided all bins,
By eating the skins,
Which gave him runs faster than Oliver Garner!

I can't improve on your work obviously but I thought I'd give a go at making both syllables of "Guyana" rhyme.

I worked with a guy from Guyana,
Who was always producing high drama,
He went to Tibet,
Smoked crack with a vet,
And now he thinks he's the Dalai Llama.

Needs work.

In other news, have we touched upon the right way to eat a banana yet? Opening at the opposite end of the stalk, and using the stalk as a handle of course.

I'm pretty sure it has come up before, and it's total bollocks. Only rarely is it even slightly awkward to peel a banana the normal way, and if you open it the wrong way, you end up with the shitty bit on the top and you now have to make an effort to get rid of that before eating it.

I read that on some Buzz Feed thing fairly recently. So I tried it and it made no difference at all.
Do you mean that they still "curled up all weird"? Because if so, your Post-It notes must be of inferior quality, as I've never encountered this phenomenon, however I've peeled them off. And I used to sell the things, so I've used not only the branded ones, but also a wide range of imitations, so I know what I'm on about. Honest, I do! I know it sounds arrogant but I have extensive experience in this area.

Why don't you not start sentences with a superfluous "so" like normal people?

Is this still true when considering exclaves and colonies that aren't connected to the countries' main landmasses (e.g., Sint Maarten as part of the Netherlands)?
