Unlucky to have SUBPRIME disallowed, it's a great spot. Scrabble allows it along with HERPETOID for the first round. No UNDERSOLE* though!

I had the same method as Zarte for the first numbers ([{except with fewer brackets}]). I also would have gone for undersole* and subprime* was a good effort too.
Mike Brown: "Round 12: T N R S A E I G U

C1: SIGNATURE (18) ["9; not written down"]
C2: SEATING (7)
Score: 108–16 (max 113)

Another niner for Adam and yet another century. Well done, that man."

Dave 34-32 Neil says Neil's in the lead. New scoring system then, too!

C2: SEATING (7)

Thought JAMMIES* (as in pyjamas) might be an alternative in the JASMINE round, but apparently it's not in.

Not only did I think I had ADORATION. I also counted it as 8 points. And so adjusting the scores now, Neil beat me with that sweet conundrum solve. Balls.

Well played Dave and Neil, a good close game with a nice conundrum solve under pressure. Nice that Nick pronounced Neil's surname correctly in the end! Dr Phil prescribes a double dose of Zussman! Looking forward to tomorrow's show.

Very well played both of you. Unlucky with UNDERSOLE but it was a superb conundrum spot by Neil, like in his last game. It'll be a tough game against Jonathan tomorrow, especially since it was filmed straight after but as we've seen in this tournament, anything can happen.

I did the first numbers Jack's way and the second by one of the many alts (4+4)x6x5-3, and avoided the traps in the words.

I've had it disallowed 4 times, still would have gone for it!

I was so certain there was a 9 in round 3, so was well relieved that undersole was found out not to be in....................

Not my best of games, I thought i had TROPHIED* in round 1, clearly just ATROPHIED (a bit of SPOUSING* in there perhaps. :P )

But, very well done, Neil. Should be an interesting encounter with Jonathan tomorrow. 8-)

CONSOLER in round 6 and ELECTOR in round 11.

1st Numbers Alt.: (((9 x 9) - 1) x 8) - 25 + 4 = 619 (Stupidly then realised I didn't need the "-1", and could've just taken away the 25 and 4 :!: :P
2nd Numbers Alt.: (6 x 5 x (7 + (4 / 4))) - 3 = 237

That was closer than I would've liked, but once again I was relieved to get the win! :) It's odd, but I think almost the only two conundrums I've got all series so far have been the ones in my own shows- seems I thrive under pressure, or something like that...

Subprime was very annoying, I was very happy with that spot and didn't think it was even risky. And that had a knock-on affect on the next round; I was fairly sure undersole wasn't in, but couldn't risk going 26 behind, cos I wasn't certain. I wouldn't have declared it if I was going first. We both had ROUNDELS anyway, so it didn't make that much difference but at the time it felt like I was having a bit of a 'mare. I also should've got CONSOLED, but apart from that it just felt like there were a load of flat rounds, which was quite annoying, since I didn't want another crucial! But Dave played well, so I was very glad to scrape through.

Haha, I remember being sure that they were going to do a retake, since I didn't think I could've been the only one who noticed. Glad they didn't though, it shows I was awake. 8-)

DC got that. Also DIOPTRE which I don't think they did say.

Also, not to the same extent as yesterday's game, but OMG spoilerz! The calm before the storm, perhaps.
