and is it just me who finds his Corner contributions weirdly rubbish? Admittedly I've only watched one of his shows, but most of the time Nick would ask DC and he'd just grunt the word they got, and nothing else.

I think so, the only other Canadian that I can think of who has been on the show was Ryan Vickers, who of course lost to Ryan Taylor in S61.

Well, in fairness, I used my personal knowledge to include it, on the basis that Eddie McCullagh had it accepted in S64, just as the new OED was being used, so I decided to accept it for that reason alone.
