Spoilers for Wednesday February 22nd 2012 (Series 66 Game 33

Post by Jordan F »

Our own Peter Lee has 2 under his belt thus far, can he make it 3 today? He has some difficult tests coming this week, but since I'm not sure which days these apterites come up, I won't mention who yet. Anne Widdecombe is still here and....just...I have no words.Yes you're a politician. Yes you were on strictly come dancing. Yes it pushes me to the brink of banging my head on my desk. That's all I have to say about that FOR THE LOVE OF GOD COME BACK BADGER HUMBLE PLEASE. ....ok, I'm done.

James for the recap later.

....you still can't manage to spell her name correctly. It's Ann.

Strictly Come Dancing was mentioned (by her) once yesterday, and then only in passing, so I don't think that there's much to criticise her for there, unless we're going to start complaining every time Phil Hammond mentions being a doctor.

It's ok to criticise Anne Widdecombe for anything, it doesn't matter if it's fair. (It is fair.)

I've solved the 2nd numbers that Rachel didn't (50/25)X4X100=800+6+3=809

Before part 3 has started as well

OK. We'll stick with criticising her for being a talentless fat Tory bigot then.

I'm pretty sure it was 75 rather than 25 (i.e. 75,50,100,4,6,3)

I thought it was 25, we'll see in a recap

Definitely 75 not 25 - number solver software shows it is possible but it's that sort where you have to multiply
two big numbers and then divide back down again later.

Ok I checked and it was 75, my mistake, so it was like getting 952 from 100, 75, 50, 25, 6, 3 when you have to do 23,800/25 at the end, that sort of solution?

Crumbs. Forced to listen to Ann's diatribe today.
Virgin Media On Demand seems to be failing to upload Countdown this week, so I watched it on my laptop on 4OD.
Didn't fast forward as it can eff up the buffering.

"How dare prisoners watch television!" presumably pleases the Daily Mail readers in the audience.

Magicians freak me out a little, but if I ever go on the show, I'd prefer Paul Zenon (I fast forward his appearances) as the guest to Widders.

Another good win, Peter - very fast on those conundrums.

Yeah I only really noticed this this because I got MONSTERA, and it reminded me of the time I asked Josh Hurst to come up with Touchdown 9s from my name - I think he got about 10 within 10 seconds.
