Spoilers For Tuesday September 27th 2011

Post by James Robinson »

So, Jayne has made it to day 3 after putting on another good show yesterday, helped no doubt by that impressive 9 near the end too. :)

Here's hoping that she keeps it up. ;) :) :D

Liam will be providing us with the recap later on. 8-)

Best performance I've seen on countdown for a long time. Scoring along, she beat me on the last numbers and the conundrum for a classic comeback win, lol. Very welcome change to other recent contestants. Guess the next question is whether she overtakes Matt C!

Good close contest today with both players spotting some good words, especially POMANDER and COURANTE. Jayne had me beaten with those and I think on this form she's got a decent chance of making the finals. It's great to see a female contestant having a good run for a change.

You know there's a new breed on C4C when people are talking about the game and not dribbling over the female contestant instead. I don't know whether to be proud or disappointed.

Ha, you have a point. Thought it was a touchy subject with her being 17, so I'll say in democratic politics-type phraseology if I was still in school doing A-Levels, I'd absolutely destroy her.

I'll be honest, I haven't logged in to this forum for ages, and I only bothered to log in just now to see if anyone was drooling over Ophelie. My God, she was nice ;-) Kind of reminded me of Kate Middleton. I paused the TV when her score was stuck on 69, so sue me.

WOW!!!! What a difference a week makes :!:  :o

Definitely one of, if not, the best episodes of S65. Amazing that R14 was the only round where neither contestant got the max. Very impressive stuff.

I got another MAX GAME too, so I'm well happy to get through that with flying colours. ;) :) :D  8-)

LAZIEST in round 6, SUNDEW/UNSEXY in round 7 and NOCTURNE in round 9.

3rd Numbers Alt.: ((8 + 1) x 6 x 10) - 7 = 533

I do!

Just read through the recap and this looked like a very high-quality game. Then I've just read this spoilers thread and think I should probably watch the actual show as well :D

Thought both women played excellently - Ophelie would've beaten most of the other winning contestants from the past few weeks on that form. But Jayne's looked fantastic so far, easily the best female contestant of the series. Well played!
