It's probably worth reminding everyone that her husband is also a member of the forum before we start objectifying her etc etc as we usually do with female contestants, eh Dinos? ;)

Very impressive start, will be interesting to see how long she can keep it up.

Bit surprised about CONMEN, I'd have gone for that myself.

By the way what's with this new "shaking hands before the game" thing that seems to have started?

Me too. And again, just like Tony Stamp, I went for LOCATED in round 4 even though there was no C. Though I did realise just before the 30 secs was up, and switched to a 6 letter alternative.

Very impressive debut from Debbi. I look forward to more.

Nice to see Tony Stamp in dictionary corner. He seems to come over well. But didn't he make a slip, and refer to "yesterday's programme" as Friday's. On reflection, though, had Countdown only taken a four day break for Goodwood races, instead of the twenty day break, then yesterday's (Monday's) programme would have been broadcast on a Friday.

That's quite right Howard, my broadcast was originally scheduled for Monday 11th August.
Thanks for the compliments. I watched it from behind a cushion!
She came, she saw - oh well, at least she tried!
