That is pretty damn impressive john :D . You missed out on 2 points only. What were the ones you missed?

I thought the max would be 149 not 150 so I reckon John missed PEDICEL only. I missed MOTTLED and PEDICEL so if I was playing the challenger, I had 147 points. If I was in the challengers chair I'd have 141 points. Either way, both records. What a game. Surprised Carol missed the easy numbers of (100+8)x(2+4) -(8-3)

Amazing scoring, John. (edit) and Kirk

And a good couple of performances from the current champion. She's even jumped passed one other player on the leaderboard having played one game less.

Noooooooooooo - I have MATELOT and MATELOTE in my words I try not to miss! I got MATELOT in practice the other day and missed MATELOTE again. Surprise surprise - watching the show today, I missed MATELOTE. When will I learn?

Same here, I missed PEDICEL and MATELOTE, neither of which I'd ever heard of before.

I got reseating but wondered about gratinees?

I also got my best ever score today although not quite in the 140's. Could have done with these letter selections in my last game...

So did John Davies in his game vs. Paul Gallen...

Edit because that's a bit unhelpful: Lee, 'gratinees' is no good - in his game vs. Paul Gallen in the quarter-finals of the last CofC, John Davies saw both RESEATING and GRATINEES^ in the first round, and wondered which one to go for - sadly he chose the wrong one

Interestingly, I spotted GRATINEES^ first and that's what led me to the double 9 RESEATING/STINGAREE. You just have to learn these pitfalls and learn to connect them with real words.

I believe ORGANDIES is another anagram of ORGANISED/GRANDIOSE, but that's pointless knowledge :D

It's already been mentioned above, Joe. You are correct that ORGANDIES is an anagram and it's NOT pointless knowledge as people now know the 8 - ORGANDIE.
