Spoilers For Thursday February 24th 2011

Post by James Robinson »

So, after that tense nailbiter yesterday, expected full-blooded war today, as 2 Apteforumites go head-to-head for the title of champion of "Episode 5212"-ish.

Ned Pendleton is still the champ, and is now 5 wins to the good. His challenge today comes in the form of Dan McColm.

Is he going to prove to be the Real McColm, or just be a Desperate Dan :?:

Join me and the Robinson Recap later to find out. ;) :) :D

You so weren't - several maxes and some lovely spots too especially NEPETA - disappointed not to see you again Dan but you played very well I thought.

Ned, you're my new favourite from this series after that awesome head bobbing. Ed, you're boring now. Plus that bloke in the audience what got the conundrum has been to, like, a million recordings or something. He's basically part of Dudley's warm-up act now.

No you weren't.
You put up a great show.
Also, you have a nice calm voice, and you smiled. :)

You were a good contest Dan, and without sounding like Ralph, you have a good radio voice too!

And NIGGLES in R3 as a DC equaller.

A good game - both solid players - not much between them, but Ned's consistency won it in the end, especially on the numbers.

Things I liked:

- My casual sips of water
- My 815 solution
- NEPETA, which I didn't realise was the max

Things I disliked:

- How slowly I picked
- Not seeing REDEALT^ = RELATED
- Blowing the last numbers game, which was simpler than I thought.

Dan, though I thought you did yourself proud, I was more impressed with the fact that you're trying to do "the 92"

I just wondered, if a team moves to a new stadium (ie Chesterfield and Morecambe are two that spring to mind who have a new home this season), are you disciplining yourself enough to ensure that the new grounds must be ticked off?

In fact, you've inspired me to do a quick count up, I'm up to 39 football league and 126 others.

Yep, if a team moves to a new ground, I'll have to go to that team's new ground to tick it off. I'd been to Highfield Road a few times, but when Coventry City moved to the Ricoh, I went there to tick it off (we drew 1-1 8-) )
