Spoilers For Tuesday February 1st 2011

Post by James Robinson »

So, we're now into the 2nd month of 2011, and what better way to start it, with a new champion in Dave Dyer, who confidently put Jody to the sword yesterday. I personally thought that Jody might've had an outside chance of making it to the finals, and he still does, just very, very unlikely though.

Still, can Dave take over from where Jody left off and get even closer to a more solid spot on the leaderboard :?:

Join Ryan later for the recap. ;) :) :D

I got slightly closer in the first numbers. ((25-5)*4+1)*10+10=820. 819 is possible though. But not 818.

I think Thom has a very nice voice.

Mavis scored her first points when I was on 61. This has already surpassed that... maybe Thom's holding out for a teapot.

I didn't see yesterday's episode, so didn't know what to expect of Dave. I have to say I was very impressed with him today. He looks like he's got the talent to go a fair way in this series (hope I haven't jinxed him).

Turns out Susie has good taste in puddings. All is forgiven.

Yeah - I had one of my better games today and ended up drawing with him. Not that that's much of a yardstick.

I don't think it's been mentioned yet, but you all realise that Dave Dyer is an apterite, right? Not been seen since the middle of December, though.

He's been sharp on words and numbers, so I was wondering. His conundrum solves have been pretty fast too. He looks relaxed. Could be tough to beat.

Also BOOGIED in R12 - that, rather than BIGOTED, jumped out at me.

That Dave Dyer is good. Twelve maxes, and beat me by thirty points.

Whoever was waiting to play him next must have been bricking it...
