After having WALDOS in an earlier round, I was hoping ANSIBLES might also have made it from SF to the dictionary, but are disadvantaged by not having being really invented yet. (Though the device does give its name to an invaluable SF newsletter) :P

I was pondering ABLINES in one round, but then realised that ABLINE is just a command from R, and so is unlikely to be valid in Countdown (let alone its plural).

Perhaps I am spending too much time (failing at) coding...

There were some DC-beaters Charlie, which I got: DEMINER (round 8) and RAVENED (round 12). I missed ESPOUSAL and LESBIANS and the last numbers though. (BASSLINE is listed in CountMax but it's not in the dictionary as far as I can see...)

Edit to say: Patricia's level has droppped a long way since her first game; I'm no longer confident of her becoming an octochamp, but it's good to see her still winning...

Is PICRITES ok, rd 2?

And why isnt BASSLINE in?
If I suddenly have a squirming baby on my lap it probably means that I should start paying it some attention and stop wasting my time messing around on a Countdown forum

Hmmm... would be touch-and-go as a mass noun plural. Stick to PRICIEST mate
