I didn't see it but I suspect LEGIONED is fine, shame the contestant didn't add the -ed.

Yes, it's fine.David O'Donnell wrote:I didn't see it but I suspect LEGIONED is fine, shame the contestant didn't add the -ed.
(7*8 + 10 - 7)*4 is a neat alternative without using the 75

I think she doesn't have a nine.
You can only add two vowels to REPLICON.

I'm surprised Jo didn't go for outbeards, as in "Gevin has outbearded everyone in the Greatest Ever Contestant thread".

LOL! If we use it enough it'll eventually find its way in to the ODE.Paul Howe wrote:Well she did get porcelain.David O'Donnell wrote:I think she doesn't have a nine.

Please say something like that if such an opportunity arises in the finals...David O'Donnell wrote:It's not that I love it, I just don't have a choiceMichael Wallace wrote:for all of you who love not using a big 'un

Wow! No-one in the audience got that one! The challenger deserved to win though.

Well done to Carole, coming from behind in the first half to win that. I do think though that conundrum was a tad bit tricky (could only come up with ALLY as a ending).

I was surprised by that, too (no-one getting the conundrum, although I did think "ASSIMELLY? No...that's not a word" before working it out). She seemed better, yeah, once she got past her early round nerves/hiccups. Not sure I can stand another week of Jo Brand, though...David O'Donnell wrote:Wow! No-one in the audience got that one! Me: "You were never on me"
Although it seemed to go completely unnoticed. Only my mother spotted it, Julian Clary is about where her sense of humour is at.

I wonder if we can presume that they'll never let a man have Carol's job, simply because of all the people who ask for one large...

God, I was just suffering from incredible feelings of revulsion, nausea and disgust there but I realised I had left the TV on C4 and DOND had come on.
