INTERIOR
If I suddenly have a squirming baby on my lap it probably means that I should start paying it some attention and stop wasting my time messing around on a Countdown forum

A surprising miss, but then all of us who went on the show had surprising misses.

Re: Spoilers for Tuesday 8th April
as opposed to a surprising missus?
also I've noticed RAPED, RAPES and RAPIST today - which has only led to me imagining someone writing countdown fanfiction where someone talks about Des O's 'teatime teaser' (emphasis on the inverted commas there...)
now where's that mental floss...

ISOLATES, ASTILBES and STABILES (the grievous omission of pokemon from the ODE means you cant have blastoise)

If you cut a gandiseeg in half, do you get two gandiseegs or two halves of a gandiseeg?
Re: Spoilers for Tuesday 8th April
IDEOGRAM. DC have been a bit rubbish today compared to their usual impeccable standards.

Yes, now you've just earned a mention in today's recap!
You didn't get one for "RAPED" because those letters do not seem to have appeared in any round thus far.

Re: Spoilers for Tuesday 8th April
I could've sworn you could have got RAPED in round 1? (not a phrase I often expect to say...)
and if I was just imagining it, then let's just pretend I was trying to attract everyone to this fun and exciting thread in my own special way
edit: and awesome recap-mention-fame - another step on the long road to convincing everyone I'm not just some berk who makes up silly words all the time

Re: Spoilers for Tuesday 8th April
yea i got a century but it should have been quite a big score tbh, if i had scored every round could have got close to 120 which would have been nice, that 9 made my game look good, cuz i was rubbish today
