Spoilers for Thursday 20th March

Post by JasonCullen »

I wonder how long this new champion will last! If today's game is as enthralling as yesterday's battle, we are in for another cracking game :D

I think you can only have COPULATES, but not sure of that.

OUTPLACES is a no no! I learnt that last time the selection came up, and this time spotted COPULATES straight away.

Also Round 10:

(100-4)x7+75 is quite a neat solution. For some reason I like adding a biggie on at the end.

Isn't it the same with OUTPLACED and COPULATED?

Missed HISTAMINE (and THIAMINE) today and wouldn't have risked UNOILED. I put this down to the shock of sitting down to watch today's game and not seeing Andrew Swale in the champion's chair. I missed yesterday's game so didn't realise he'd been beaten.

I got OUTPACES which beats the contestants, but didn't get COPULATES.
If you cut a gandiseeg in half, do you get two gandiseegs or two halves of a gandiseeg?

Des doesn't seem to like Tony, but he's certainly a nice person (and humorous too); he just doesn't give much away. Well, I suppose I would have liked to have seen Andrew go on to win 8 times, since I got on really well with him, but oh well.

Thursday's challenger was a hilarious character, but again, the pressures of being in the studio seemed to keep his humour at bay. I got COPULATES at the time, and cursed the fact that I wasn't still playing. :D

Looking forward to today's game, since it'll be the first in a while where I haven't anticipated all the words, and it'll be the first in even longer where I haven't known the outcome (since I knew Barry had won 7 times). The challenger seemed like a very nice man, so good luck to him.
