With Apterous down, playing against Stephen on TV will be the closest I get to practice today.

Can't really blame the male contestant for having trouble concentrating. Ahem.
If you cut a gandiseeg in half, do you get two gandiseegs or two halves of a gandiseeg?

My living room looks like this:

I dread to think what it will look like afterwards.

(EDIT: originally had the emoticons arranged in single file before realising it looked like a mantrain)

Interesting to see STROKE in the first six letters there.

Stephen could have gotten the numbers exactly if he'd took the two off - which would have meant winning by 1 point:

5*25 = 125
125 + 6 - 2 = 129
129*5 = 645
645+9 = 654

Riiiiight. Rachel's actually on the show every day in case you hadn't noticed. It's going to get pretty tedious if half the posts on every show's spoiler thread are typed with one hand.

I had HYALINES for a beater in the LESBIAN round. So that's it - just 12 consecutive games of a Yorkie in the chair. Oh well.

Well said. Anyone who disses Rachel gets shot down in a flash, those who can't see past her looks and need to keep reminding us should get the same treatment.

Alternative last numbers game:

9 x 25 = 225 - 5 = 220 x (5 -2) = 660 - 6 = 654

I went for (25 - 5) x 5 = 100 + 9 = 109 x 6 = 654

Yes but that dress was particularly enticing. Maybe your equivalent of Linford Christie's sprinting shorts?
If I suddenly have a squirming baby on my lap it probably means that I should start paying it some attention and stop wasting my time messing around on a Countdown forum

That sounds like putting logic ahead of common sense to me!

Do you think Rachel had Jon "Vidcapper" Corby in mind when she made a real effort not to look at the camera whilst posing next to the word lesbian?
Living life in a gyratory circus kind of way.
