Shamefully I didn't realise Kirk was on tomorrow, so thanks for the reminder.

I managed to get 804 in the first numbers game by doing:

(7x5+25+7)x(10+2)

Oh, sorry - wrong "Kirk Bevins' debut".

Kirk must be 1/5 on to become an octochamp, but just imagine, just IMAGINE the outrage in here if he lost today.
It would almost be worth it to see all your virtual faces. I don't mean that of course. Come on Kirk.

No, Jeff clearly said Kirkulator. You probably misheard it as perculator because you're one of those people who calls a percolator a perculator.

I can't remember when I've seen a contestant clearly enjoying themselves so much. And I'd forgotten what a nice voice Kirk has. This game is a pleasure to watch.

I must admit that after seeing it on TV (much more so than when I was sat in the studio with Charlie), how effortless Kirk made it look to glide past the highest opening score.

Well it's not his first appearance, so it would class as his second game.

Nonetheless though well done to Kirk (or should it be Kevin :P).

Fantastic game, Kirk! :) :) :)
IMHO Kirk has beaten the highest debut score record.

I don't watch many games as they're transmitted, but I had to for this one.
Ann was good, and came up with some great equallers, but didn't stand a chance, really.

Roll on tomorrow, and another lamb to the slaughter. Got to sympathise with them, being pitted against the Kirkulator.
Although maybe not. Quite an experience I suppose, to be knocked out by someone that good, unless you thought you were good enough to be an octochamp.

Thanks for putting me right, Charlie! Dudley does have a loud laugh, so I thought you meant him.
Although I met Dudley when I saw 3 of Neil Zussman's games being recorded, my memory is a bit crap.
He made a joke about the difference in Alex's and my height, which I reckon you have to be over 70 to understand, as I didn't, and pointed us out to Jeff when he came in.

Simon is my real name. Sid (Properly SiD - Simon from Derwent [college]) is a darts nickname that has all but supplanted my real name amongst all the people I play darts with, including Kirk. And hence from talking to Kirk, also Charlie.

Dr Phil's shirt reminded me of my favourite Tim Vine joke: "So I said to my girlfriend, how do you like my new shirt? It's got cactuses on it. She said, cac-TI. I said, that's as may be, but what do you think of the shirt?"

Actually, I didn't feel Dr P was on form today. Maybe he suffered slightly by comparison with Kirk's scintillating performance, but his usual tales of real life are much funnier than that tired old balloon joke he recycled before the break.

I caught Not Going Out a while back merely as a result of forgetting to change the channel from some previous programme. Since then I've done my best to watch every episode.
Cheesy as fuck, but no one does cheesy as fuck quite as well as Tim Vine and Lee Mack. I'd recommend it to anyone for cheap, reliable laughs.

 The legend Tim Vine. Bring back Whittle I say. They should get him in dictionary corner, he could easily rattle off a few dozen jokes in his slot.
