Discuss anything that happened in recent games. This is the place to post any words you got that beat Dictionary Corner, or numbers games that evaded Rachel.

The Zussmeister takes on another enemy.

Also, I'm predicting right here and right now, based solely on his appearance and his exciting surname, that Neil will be this series' first octochamp.

Didn't get CONSIGN, is CANINGS ok?

Edit: it's fine, and I've just seen AGNOSIA but after the time.
If you cut a gandiseeg in half, do you get two gandiseegs or two halves of a gandiseeg?

Nice spot from Rachel, did I mention that she's becoming more and more relaxed in front of the cameras now? Good for her.

MOISTY lol, used to mean something else when I was at school.

I can get 821 or 823 for the final numbers game. Really really well done Neil, you definitely look like this series' first Octochamp.

When Jeff told that story about being recognised by a bloke standing next to him at the urinal, it did occur to me to wonder whether it was his face that the guy recognised or something else. Then Jeff went straight to the first Teatime Teaser: NUDGEROD. At that point I think I may have let slip an unseemly snigger.

Looks a bit like the great kids tv presenter Fred Harris. (that's a compliment btw)

Yes, I'm enjoying your programs Neil and hope you win a few more. You're a good all-rounder with a pleasant manner, and also you remind me of Alastair McGowan for some reason. Do you do impressions? There's an idea for a DC guest. By the way, I like Kate Humble in DC. At least she sounds like she knows the game well, speaks clearly, and seems to get on well with everyone.

Congratulations Neil, same total score as yesterday, I notice. I was surprised you didn't get NOTELET, especially as I saw it immediately and I would be a real rubbish player. Still, it didn't stop you winning. Kevin seemed a nice young man and he did quite well, but he was up against a 'goodie' this time.

OK then!

One of my sons is autistic, and is sometimes very noisy. My eldest goes up to him and tells him "too noisy, three noisy, four noisy". Amuses us anyway. :D

I was pleased to get SINGLETS, DHOTI and ITERATED, and was actually ahead of Neil for a few rounds.
Unfortunately I also did a few crap rounds too, so lost overall.

Wednesday's game is the first of the 3 I saw recorded in January.
You may remember, Neil, (or probably not as you had rather more important things on your mind) a rather large lady introducing herself at your table with your parents, as I was sat at the next table with my eldest son, while having our tea and biscuits. 8-)

I was pleasantly surprised to meet (some of) the winning and losing contestants. I thought that they'd all be 'green-roomed' off from the audience.

I do remember, actually Julie. I joined this forum the day after that was recorded, so I had on idea who you were at the time, but it was nice to meet you. I had wondered if it was you actually, having read some of your comments, but I thought 'if I ask you and I'm wrong, it'll look a bit weird.' So thanks for answering my unasked question!
For your second point, if we stayed in the green room all day, we'd starve. :)

Yes, 92 both times. And if I hadn't stuck a G onto 'radiates' yesterday I'd've got a century but never mind. Well done for getting notelet. As I've said before, my brain tends to go missing at inopportune times. I got it whilst watching the tele though, does that count? ;)

As anyone who was on with me will know, this is utter rubbish. That huge box of biscuits could keep a family going for a month (or a very hungry little kid going for a few hours).

Big box of biscuits? You mean the pack of 3 Chocolate bourbons? I guess you ate so many they've had to make cut-backs ;)

Not been on line for almost a week as had no internet (pure torture it was, I can tell you!) so a bit late commenting on last week's games.

Ditto, Neil you're coming over as a lovely bloke. You remind me more of a younger better looking Jonathan Price though, which is a compliment, I adore Jonathan! :D

Another alternative third numbers (using the correct amount of 3s ;)) is (((3x75)-50-10)x5)-3 though can't remember now if I got it in time...

However I totally get Jojo's Fred Harris reference. I hadn't spotted the resemblance myself, though.
