Fair play to you Stephen- you did a good job and 78 is a far from shabby score to lose on, just I think on that day, Dave may have put in one of his best performances to date- giving a good showing across the board. It's the luck of the draw but hopefully you enjoyed it and there will always be that opportunity in a few years time.....

Like Tom, I have to mention Dave was seriously on fire today, especially in the Numbers, Round 6's solution was very obscure IMO and he got it so well done! Hopefully, he's the third octochamp tomorrow and that makes it three-in-a-row. Hey, we've not seen that in some time now...

Not sure if 107 is in the current repeated sequence of targets, but if so and you know it's coming next, 4L is a great choice because whatever the 2 small are, it's possible. (I just checked, lol)

Nerves definitely got the better of me early on (and throughout)
and writing S instead of X didn't help in the later round. Serves me right for looking at Rachel instead of my monitor.

Dave was a strong player though and I think he was in full swing by the time he played me
Nice chap as well.

Of course I loved it, even getting to watch the show was great, let alone getting to have a go
and to lose to a potential finalist softened the blow.
