Not sure if anyone was aware, but Jodine is a returnee, having previously appeared against Tia Corkish in Series 67. In any case, her "second début" was very impressive. PORTRAITS is quite a low-probability 9 and EMOTIVE was a tidy spot too.

A very impressive debut by Jodine- definitely octo material and would like to see her do well because she isn't a "typical Countdown" contestant. She played brilliantly throughout. Plus most of the DC beaters I had never heard of today- hence a bit of frustration my end

But anyway, she played really well today. If she carries on like this, then definitely a realistic octochamp.

Wow, what a debut by Jodine! Brilliant score, really hope she becomes an octochamp. She seems quite calm and very likeable.

She was very unlucky with BOOTLET. That seemed very plausible indeed.

Jodine would have taken me to a crucial playing along at home - 6 maxes (which is the same as she achieved when she lost on her first appearance), but I think that understates her performance. Will be interesting to see how she progresses.
