ASTROIDS in R4

Diane played a lot better than her debut, and though it was not an amazing display, her 7 max display was consistent. She is probably different in real life, but when playing the game she comes across as a little cold, though it could be attributed to the whole studio setting nerves.

Indeed we should! One can tell Diane must have polished her skills during the day she had a break which was on 13 March. Her last Prelim in S78 was filmed on 12th and this was filmed on 14th straight after the Grand Final!

Alternative for R6 if you want to use all the Numbers: ((7 + 3) x 6 + 1) x 9 - 3

Thought too much in R14 and got 650 instead...ugh...I hate it when there's an easy solution and I miss it!

Do they normally finish a series at the end of a filming day? Presumably not this time, as Paul Zenon carried on through from one series to the next.

Same as what I was thinking- don't recall it happening with the previous series'.

Glad to see Diane playing to a somewhat higher standard today -- I think she can win a few more. Toby's spot of NOTATION was also quite fine.

I got SUPINES in one of the rounds and TOWARDS in another neither of which got a mention but I think they would have worked

Both would have been fine

Saw 'rathole' but not 'loather'. Surprisingly it's valid (I think).
Oh and 'finesse' in the 'penises' round (as well as, not instead of).

So this game was played straight after Philip V Zarte I guess
If I was playing after that game I'd just think yeah pack the bags I'll probably just go for Pointless instead

Yes, this has never happened last year or the year before, and back in mid-March when I was capturing the schedules for recapping purposes I genuinely thought back then they would be filming three Special Episodes but as you can tell, that's not the case anymore! This episode was filmed about two or three hours after the GF filming wrapped up.

I would have also agreed here, but since they film according to when the guest is available, plus Countdown must've thought having Paul Zenon appear twice only is so wasteful, why not carry him on to here instead. This also means S79 will tentatively have (and most likely) 126 episodes, 9 more than the Previous Series!

Notation was nice from Toby.

But guessing shaving for the conundrum!?! Probably one he'd like back...
