I'm sure it has something to do with nerves, but I don't know that I've ever seen someone look to be having as little fun as Maria is...
Possibly the first contestant to accelerate with a mic clipped...

Loved the way Maria used RAINOUT to her advantage in R7...I totally did not see that one coming...and how did I miss MIGALOOS in R13 when I've heard this word so many times when I was on tour in Australia three times? Hmm...

Alternative for R9 if you want to use all the numbers: (75 + 9 + 4 + 1 + 1) x 3

Fastest Conundrum I've ever gotten, at one second tied with FURIOUSLY during Philip Aston's show.

(P.S. My Internet has been cut so I'm typing this using my phone...this is so much more difficult than I thought...)

It was interesting how Maria seemed to be struggling at the start and looked like going out, but a couple of rain delays later and she really turned it around.

Thought she played quite well today tbh. An 81% raw score is not bad going. We'll be seeing how she does later on..... :)

Odd that in the last numbers she could have got within 2 by simply taking the 30 she had from her 900, but decided to use the 50 to finish further away - heat of the moment, I suppose !

It was nice to see Nick contribute in one of the rounds today - I wish he'd do this more often.

What did he do, I don't think I noticed?

The difficulty is that, on the evidence of the contributions he does make, he is absolutely hopeless at Countdown.
