Spoilers for Tuesday 6th February 2018.
Some strong play by Phil today, who took me to a crucial (partially due to my silly miss of 959), and never particularly had a huge challenge with Simon, who, albeit seemed very nice, seemed to lose the grip of things early on. I can see Phil staying in the champion's seat for a few games at least, and think he could give Chris a run for his money so far in the seeding. So well done to him

Plus, was anyone frustrated that Phil didn't opt for a final vowel on the last letters?

Little bit -- either a final E or A would have given a fairly simple 9.
FAVELAS as a beater to LOAVES/HALVES.
2nd Numbers Alt.: 75 * 8 - 25 * (5 - 3) - 1
Optimal efficiency 1-away solution on 3rd numbers: (25 + 1) * 8 * 4
I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.

ROBINETS and RAGLORE as consecutive r1/r2 beaters.

Surprised BRONZE isn't in as an adjective, otherwise could have had BRONZEST for r1. Seems as plausible as PUCEST or MAUVEST

Seconded Martin, did have my doubts about it and Bronziest, but BRONZEST definitely seemed a feasible proposition (was thinking it must be in for the reasons you stated), but did chicken, which ended up being a good thing... But definitely was surprised by it.Martin Hurst wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2018 9:55 am Surprised BRONZE isn't in as an adjective, otherwise could have had BRONZEST for r1.
