Turns out there was indeed another culinary max in the MASHED/STEAMED round -- SAUTEED as another equaller.
I was surprised nobody mentioned OVENING in round 10. I'm also surprised that it doesn't seem to be a word according to ODO, but would have thought someone would have at least queried it.
(If I try searching for it it gives me "micro-ovening". It's even weirder that that's in there.)
