Two simpler numbers alternatives:

!st game: (25 + 6) x 8
4th game: ((6 x 7) + 5) x 6

Like the players, I missed that 6/(9-6) is 2 to add to the 280 and did (5x8-(6/6))x7+9

Spent most of the time looking for 47 for 47 x 6, then 8 x 5 + 7 almost appeared. Then I saw 9 x 6 - 7 too.

I thought it was funny that Rachel did 46 x 6 + 6 instead of 47 x 6, when it was just as "cheap" to get the 47 as it was to get the 46. She did 9x5+7-6 instead of 9x5+8-6.

Yes, or even 8 x 5 + 7 or 9 x 6 - 7. Which is what I was trying to say just now, lol :-)

Yes, that would be even better, but even given she did it the 9 x 5 way, it was a bit weird.

That not-quite-the-glitzy-Hollywood-actress, M. Pfeffer, is having a tough run so far!
Games #1 and #4 in particular were mighty tussles.
Makes for great viewing, mind...

He seems a bit sure of himself, which doesn't make for great viewing.

Respect your view on this, but could not disagree more.
Give me a confident happy player over meekness and/or false humility any day.
For me, his matches have made for some of the best viewing of S77 so far (aside, of course, from that wonderful moment when John Cowen said "MORTALISE" in a voice like wrought iron).

I disagree too, I find him likeable. Confident but not cocky. He was quality today.

Didn't watch today's, but when I have watched, he's been likable. He's just comfortable with his ability and enjoying the experience. I don't think he'd be the type to describe something he did as "fucking brilliant" in Aptochat. That'd be far more annoying.

How would one do something well on television and not look full of themselves, in your opinion?

I think he comes across quite well actually.
