Yes, as I guessed, OUTBOX as a verb means to be better at boxing than someone else. On the other hand, INBOX as a verb is somewhat more puzzling.
To my surprise, ODO tells me the email meaning of OUTBOX is an Americanism. What's it called on these shores then? I always thought it was called an outbox, just the same.
