Dave was pretty consistent with his word lengths today, huh?
I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.

VERY consistent! Wonder if that has happened before?

Is it me, or have the selections been a lot less favourable lately?

Have noticed this too. It seems only one or two episodes a week have available 9s now.

Technically speaking, Dave did match Suzy's win count, because they're not counting his original appearance in the 9-round era.

If I can be bothered either later or tomorrow, I'll do some analysis on average number of darrens, max etc per episode this series vs last and see if there is any noticeable difference. It certainly seems that way, a lot more duplicated letters in rounds for certain. Wonder why this is.

According to the database, no, not in a 15-round game. That's the first time a contestant has offered the same length word in every letters round.

Return of the Mack! Nice to see/hear how much it meant to him at the end there :)
Mike Brown: "Round 12: T N R S A E I G U

C1: SIGNATURE (18) ["9; not written down"]
C2: SEATING (7)
Score: 108–16 (max 113)

Another niner for Adam and yet another century. Well done, that man."

If you're picking three vowels every round regardless of what comes up, then it's at least partly self-inflicted.
