Gavin won today. But did he win yesterday?

Mark was just as good a player as Gavin, but threw the game away on that last numbers round. Not sure why he went 4 large. If you're 17 ahead, surely you want an easy one?

Stats corner: In 15-round games, Mark is only the second player to be more than 10 ahead going into the last numbers, pick something other than 1 or 2 large, and lose.

That said, it did happen in 9-round games three times, and if Scrabble legend Brett Smitheram can do it...

just caught up on game now. not the most prudent move for someone to go in to last numbers over 10 points ahead and pick 4 large when I am guessing he wasn't as confident on it. Considering his first number selection. very hard luck
