So, it's the return of the 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown specials, starting tonight with a Christmas special.

Sean & Jon are the captains, Kathy Burke & David Baddiel are their teammates, Alex Horne & The Horne Section are with Susie in DC, and Joe Wilkinson (annyoingly) returns to help with Rachel.

I'll be around with the recap in a while, probably.

Good show that - with the exception of Kathy Burke. "I don't like Christmas, I can't be arsed with Countdown." Not a single fucking joke, absolutely no value added, no contribution whatsoever. Fucking shit. If she took a fee for that she should be fucking ashamed.

They didn't point out that PRIMEVAL can be a nine but it's PRIMAEVAL rather than PRIMEEVAL as David Baddiel thought (but obviously the letters weren't there).
