David Stanford has 5 wins, a third in a series of successful runs. Is number 6 on the horizon?

Join Callum for the recap later.

Martin was right - no 6s in R7 but there is a 7 lurking.

Martin: "They're doing alright" (apart from Sara) - alts in R11 MOURNED etc

I never learnt the 41 nor the 23 times table: my alt (after Rachel's way) was ((75/3)-6)x50-7

Interesting SD said 'rounder' was only 7 she could see. Mourner/d came up recently and DC didn't see it then either.

All relatively easy numbers games today so thought Sara was going to be ok after getting 1st one. It's like she had 'negative' nerves!

Pottages not allowed on apterous so gatepost a good alternative.

Do we know if HEJIRA is ok in ODO? Looks like it's capitalised while only HEGIRA is under the non-capitalised version. The search bar is especially unhelpful on this.

I'd say it's OK because the alternate spellings are above and outside the whole of section 1 (1, 1.1 and 1.2) so it seems that they apply to all of it. I would take the bit that says "hegira" to be indicating lower case rather than anything else.

Susie did say OK, even thought the count noun sense for POTAGE isn't mentioned in POTTAGE, so presumably she allowed it in the mass food sense............

INCASES in round 1, ERGODIC in round 13.

2nd Numbers Alt.: (75 + 5) x (7 + 1) = 640
3rd Numbers Alt.: ((100 + (6 x 4)) x 8) - 4 - 3 = 985

And it finds it if you search for it, so that's a good reason to allow it.

Did the clock sound different towards the end? Might just be me! Didn't spoil the show in any way, just an observation, of sorts.
