For the first time in awhile, a coronation is upon us. Samir Pilica is on the verge of being the third octochamp from this series. A win and at least 89 points is what Samir needs to be number 2, otherwise he will stay in his current third position. What will happen?

Brain's last show was in S38 on 6/4/98 against Alan Atkins (no relation) losing 55-48 (less points as it was a 9-rounder).

Well done to Samir for becoming an octochamp, I'm glad he got into 800 club after all despite the shaky Monday game. Could be a big challenge to Mark in the finals, especially if Samir got to practice his numbers between his taping and the finals.

Very well done to Samir for becoming an octochamp, and just scraping past the 800 mark, especially as Brian was a more than worthy opponent.

Just caught up. Very well done Samir, you were a thoroughly-deserving octochamp and will be a tough match for anyone in the finals. You came up with some great words which certainly wowed DC. Brian played well too, just a shame about his collapse in part 3.
