Spoilers for Friday May 2nd 2014 (S70 P78)

Post by Jordan F »

Neil Green had arguably his most impressive win yesterday, can he get a 6th? If he wins, there's a decent chance he can make the finals, as he'd only need 125 points in two games to surpass Priscilla Munday, who has already clinched.

Join...Anthony again for the recap later? Not sure on the who though.

What a thoroughly enjoyable game to watch - I somehow found myself rooting for both players to win.

Stuart seemed to pick up towards the end, probably could have won a couple in his own right.

Awesome show today, to me it had the feel of a quarter- or semi-final.

Shame that C2 ran into a good player playing well, because he is about the third or fourth contestant this series that is probably capable of winning eight games but has lost their first game. Shame really.

A flawed series in my opinion,it looks like there's going to be at least 2 or 3 players in the quarter finals clearly inferior to at least 3 or 4 players who didn't win a game due to coming up against tough opponents.

Not copying you Andy, honest! started writing my previous post, got interrupted and by the time I'd finished it, you more or less had said the same thing!

+1 to the comments about the game today, really enjoyed it. I like Neil but probably just wanted Stuart to edge it so we got more wolftime :(

I thought I recognised the challenger from before. He had been on in Series 38, and actually won 3 games (including one on a tie-break), before he lost to the #1 seed, Chris Toyne, on game #4. So, a good veteran. 8-)

But, yes, a brilliant match today. ;) :) :D

4th Numbers Alt.: (((75 + 50) / 25) x 6) + 100 = 130

What's going on with that numbers solution? Too many brackets.

You remember a random contestant from 16 years ago? I'm cynical when Simon Cowell "remembers" an X Factor auditionee from 11 years ago or whatever, so pray tell how??

If it was Will D Downing or Julian Fell then fair enough, but a run of the mill 3 time winner?

Well, I think his surname is rather sticky-outy, isn't it :?: :P

Agree with those that said what a great game. One of those where nobody should have to lose. Proud of myself for spotting decorum so thanks for the confirmation Bradley! Seemed to be loads of ways to do some of the numbers games but none of them that obvious. Brilliant all round. Btw sorry I'm so late this week, snooker held me up but having the racing on this week will help me catch up!
