Spoilers for 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (S2 P5)

Post by Jordan F »

Another episode of Catsdown hits our screen today. Jon Richardson plays with James Corden, who I've actually heard of in the US! Sean Lock plays with Jack Dee. Joe Lycett is our Dictionary Corner guest, and Joe Wilkinson still has a beard. Jimmy Carr still hosts.

I think James is doing it. Not 100% though.

edit: He is doing it, yes. Says so on his Thursday recap, at the end.

Should this be considered as S3 rather than S2?

No, there are only 2 episodes in this little bit, so sticking it on the end of Series 2 makes the most sense. Would be a crap series if there were only 2 episodes in it. :P

So is James doing tonight's then? I can do it if it needs doing, but if James can/is doing it I'm in no rush to steal it from him.

You can have it, Callum. I'll sort out the Wiki, as I seem to be the expert at fixing it. :P

Technically, Susie didn't say BUTCHSOD wasn't in, did she not? If so, tech 8 points for Jon?

In reality, CUBOIDS as an equaller in that round.

Recap finished and published 5 minutes after the broadcast ends. And with no recap writer. Boom.

Well, it agrees with me, so that'll do. ;) :) :D  8-)

Managed to MAX that nicely. :D

2nd Numbers Alt.: (75 x 4) + (25 x 5) + 9 = 434
3rd Numbers Alt.: ((25 - 6 - 2) x 50) - 9 = 841

A few DC equallers in RADICLES in round 3 and MAGNETO/PANTOUM in round 5 too. 8-)

Wasn't David Acton the former Countdown champion who was a vegan, not Adam Acton?

Yep. Maybe they deliberately didn't use his real name in case he took offence, even though it was relatively mild mickey-taking.
