I am going to be away on this day, I did consider doing the recap later but I thought why not give one of our would-be recappers the opportunity to lose their recap cherry. So, basically, I am aiming this at Ben Pugh or Dinos: would one of you do this recap in my stead?
If not I know Joseph is pretty good at volunteering.

Lol - it's funny how times change, and how quickly we forget... would you believe, David, that there was once a time not so long ago when there were never any recaps EVER?! - if you missed an episode all you could find out about it was the final score from Mike Brown's site a few weeks later, plus a brief match report if you were lucky.David O'Donnell wrote:No sign of Ben yet with today's recap. Not that I'm having a go either at Mike or at you, David, but we Countdown aficionados are spoilt now with full written details and statistical analysis of every game within a few hours of its being broadcast, including GUARANTEED longest words for every round (again, unthinkable in "my day")... before long, as per Craig's suggestion, we may even have live round-by-round reporting so you don't even have to wait a couple of hours to find out whether you missed any maxima... c'est la folie!
