Was he any good? Was he an octochamp?
If I suddenly have a squirming baby on my lap it probably means that I should start paying it some attention and stop wasting my time messing around on a Countdown forum

Yeah he is quite a famous member of the Countdown illuminati. He was one of my Countdown heroes since his run coincided with my undergraduate studies at QUB. He did indeed become an octochamp and although he was top seed he lost in the semi-finals. His name is James Martin btw and the series in which he played must be circa 1995-1998.

That was probably the best numbers solution I've ever seen.

Yes, he was an octochamp, but lost in the series 34 semi-finals.

Obligatory Countdownwiki link - when will you kids learn?

:Edit:That made me sound like a jerk. I was trying to be humorous. Must try harder.

Its also noticeable that James Martin and Harry Peters have never been seen together.
