I've got a ticket for Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.

Saralee did say they'd had a couple of people drop out so it may be worth an email if you still don't have tickets.

Which hotel do the contestants stay in when they're recording? Someone please tell me its better than the holiday inn Leeds?! and where in Manchester are the new studios?

The studios are the Granada Studios on Quay Street. I'm not sure about the hotel, but I know the staff are based at the very swanky Midland Hotel just up the road from the studio. I only know because Damian told me this after a recording in June, just outside the hotel.

Well, after talking with Derek (who's heard of three people dropping out), I've left Saralee a message (too late to get a reply) and will make my way up in the morning, on the off-chance there's a spare seat. If not, it's a day out, and I can say hello to a few of you guys. I'll just loiter outside for a bit.

A reliable source told me it was the Jury's Inn on Great Bridgewater Street just up from the studios.

There's only TTTs in there between 9pm and 3am. There are people in the room so they've either been cropped or no-one entered or left, spoke, attempted a TTT, miskeyed, anything. I'm not Sherlock Holmes but I'm going with the former.

Read the bit 6 - 8pm. Jason, can I recommend decaff?
