Can anyone think of the best Apterites that haven't yet appeared on Countdown. Some examples are:
Rob Foster
Johnny Canuck
Luke Johnson-Davies
Dave Garda
Ray Wilding
Joseph Harrison.
Any more?

It doesn't really matter anyway because I suppose it makes sense to start a fresh thread sometimes rather than revive a list of Apterites from 2010. But I'll have a look later anyway!

I like how Ronan started the thread hoping someone would name him, then eventually had to just do it himself.
The inclusion of Ronan among these names makes far more sense in June 2020 than it did in June 2019...

I appreciate that that is an attempt at humility, Ronan, but it's not sensible.
Your current Apto rating is higher than what plenty of series champs had when they won their series. That qualifies you as one of the "best Apterites who have yet to appear", unless the bar for that is higher than 'potential champion'.
