Co-Blackpool The Big One - Saturday 13th October 2018

Post by DJ Marky Mark » Sun Nov 12, 2017 9:07 pm

Co-Blackpool The Big One New Event by the Seaside... Enjoy the Big One.
Cleveleys Working Mens Club (The Sunset Lounge)
Slinger Road Cleveleys Lancashire FY5 1BN
www.cleveleyswmc.co.uk
Your host is Mark Mills

Play format will be Classroom style as in CO-LIN Everyone will be put into groups of 3 and all games will be 9 Rounds with one player hosting.
Cleveleys is just a tram ride or bus ride from the busy centre of Blackpool and The Pleasure Beach, maybe we could have Sunday on the pleasure beach... (So who fancies a bit of Pleasure on Sunday    ) just a thought.

If anyone has any special dietary needs then please let me know, all will be catered for but will need to know in advance. The venue is wheelchair accessible, The venue holds 80 people but we will limit entries to 45 due to each table needing 3 contestants per game (should we reach that figure.) The beer prices are very good here to as an example a pint of Strongbow Draught Cider is £2.51.. (at time of writing)

I will post transport information soon for those arriving via Train or Coach.
Trains begin from London to Blackpool in April so for you sexy people travelling from or via London there is no excuse.
I will also be posting soon information for hotels in Cleveleys area of Blackpool and also hotels in the Town Centre of Blackpool

Format to be released in near future.

The mouse, he got a squeeky bum, so small still sucks his thumb, and so premature he arrived a week too soon, and he makes the women gush when he puts his head down in the bush.

One hotel I can recommend is The Blackpool FC Hotel on Bloomfield Road next to the Football Ground and looks into the stadium in some rooms as seen in the photo, although around 4 miles from the venue this hotel is only a 20 minute tram ride away and is ideal for those who want to venture into Blackpool before or after the event. get in early for the best prices.. I will post more recommendations at a later date and some close to the venue.
Hotel address is Blackpool FC Hotel
Bloomfield Road Seasiders way, Blackpool, FY1 6JJ

I'd be interested in attending this event as well. Never been to CO-Event, but always been curious about the experience. I would have attended Co-Manchester, had I been more active on Apto, and remembered the date. I'll try to remember this one. Hope to be there, and to see everyone!

When you come out of Blackpool Train Station... bus stop just literally where the arrows are, carry on down same road to sea from 5 minutes walk for Trams and other buses, go toward Fleetwood for Cleveleys... for prices and information go to Blackpool Transport website for various tickets, both are valid on Buses and Trams.
