Cryptic Themed Crossword That Wasn't Made By Ryan Or For You

Post by Matt Morrison »

(There's no fucking prize either so suck it.)

Here's a cryptic themed crossword me and HB did for Ryan last month and then forgot to send to him for bloody ages.
It arrived today, and he's done it already so publicly posting it in case maybe one of you lot might enjoy it too. It'll keep you busy for five minutes anyway.

Cryptic Themed Crossword for Ryan - May 2011.docx

p.s. Ryan - MediaFire is a shit ton better than zShare I think, I told you the wrong one when you originally asked. There's no 45 second waiting when you download the file.

Surely that kiss on the end of the file name will make it not work?

Well done for resisting the temptation to put an apostrophe in the clue for 1 across.

I don't think I can read a docx file, but I'm curious. What is the clue?

Cool! Anyone who's played any of the Call of Duty games should know the word. When I looked it up to double-check there was another valid definition - a particular type of Irish dancing shoe.

The link was pretty easy but quite fun creating nonetheless.

If it wasn't easy, then you're not a sad git who spends all their time playing apterous. So even if you lose, you win! :)

When hearing that it was a word that you'd get if you played Call of Duty, I started to think of strange words that appeared in those games and guessed what it would be without reading the actual clue. Got the link immediately after too.
