Re: "Take it or Leave it?" quiz
Hello again forumites ! I just thought I would put together another quiz but this time with 30 questions to test forumites' general knowledge ability in my latest quiz called "Take it or leave it?".
The aim of the game is to answer each of the 30 questions with the simple answer "take" or "leave". With each general knowledge question you will be given the "correct" answer to each question and if you believe the answer given is the correct one, simply type the word "take". However, if you thing the answer given to a question is wrong, then simply type the word "leave". Examples of how the game works are shown below;
1. What is the capital of France? Paris. In this instance you would "take" the answer Paris as this is the correct answer. This will give you 1 mark.
2. How many sides does a triangle have? Four. For this question you would type the answer "leave" as this is an incorrect answer. A bonus mark would be awarded if you put the word "leave" to this question followed by what you think is the correct answer. In this case, the word "leave" and the number "3" would get you 2 marks instead of 1.
Simple enough to grasp?
To make it easier for me to see who has got what answers correctly, please put your answers to the questions in the list format shown below:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
If you do not know the answer to a certain question, just guess because you have got a 50-50 chance of getting it correct. The questions are based on a wide range of topics and vary in difficulty. So please do not be disappointed with this easier and quite drab quiz format because I am working on a new quiz which is much more difficult than my "Pick and Choose" quiz which will be posted in the "Off-topic" thread at the end of next week..
So, I hope you enjoy and no cheats please (because your only cheating yourself ) By the way, some of these answers may seem obvious but beware because some are trick questions and vice versa
N.B. As I said earlier, 1 bonus mark will be awarded to any forumite who types the word "leave" to an incorrect answer and then identifies the correct answer by using their own knowledge. But please do not steal people's "real" answer as it could be wrong and it will make you look like a copycat - and you don't want to be getting a reputation on the forum for cheating!

Re: "Take it or Leave it?" quiz leaderboards
Here is the final leaderboard for my "Take it or leave it?" quiz. I was rather impressed with the standard of correct answers and well done to all who indulged in this quiz Scores are marked out of 48 (as there were 18 "leave" answers).
J1. Ben Pugh 32
J1. Kevin Thurlow 32
J2. Stewart Scott 28
J2. Michael Wallace 28 (not a bad attempt for 4am!)
J3. Corby 27
J3. Joseph Bolas 27 ( see Joseph your not last for once )
4. Dinos_the_chemist 24
5. Howard Somerset 22
Special congrats should go to Ben Pugh and Kevin Thurlow who topped the leaderboard for this quiz .
Just for interest, Ben got the most "take" or "leave" answers correct with 27 out of 30 But, Kevin got 9 correct answers to "Leave" answers (which is the highest out of everyone) so I think a draw is a fair result
N.B. Coming soon - a new quiz phenomenon called "Treasure Trivia" again thought of by myself. It will be posted next week because I've got a few exams on Monday and Tuesday so bare with me on this quiz guys

Re: "Take it or Leave it?" quiz
Good quiz, Jason.
If I'd have taken more time over spelling, I'd have got three more points and come off bottom place. I read porn as pawn.
Looking forward to the next one now.
