I did. This is (I should stress I've not completed it, just done enough to be pretty sure that it is) a
QR code and I don't know what to do after that

Just had a look. It's a glorified fucking Sudoku puzzle.

I read the title 'GCHQ Christmas Puzzle', saw that Gevin was the most recent poster and expected a puzzle from him himself. I'm now disappointed to see bloody Picross.

I had a go and have got about halfway through the picross so far. I suspect it reveals a QR code, though, which I dubious about whether it would actually scan correctly.

The QR code is only part 1 of 5. When correctly filled in, it leads you to part 2, which is a series of multiple choice questions. Then part 3 is some word problems and part 4 is some number problems. I'm now on part 5. Part 5 is... well. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that it makes Elfeshire's COLIN puzzles seem straightforward in comparison.

I think I've solved all the puzzles in part 5 now, but I'm not sure how to translate the solutions to the Algebraic and Manifold Agreement puzzles into keywords consisting of a word or string of letters, as required by the instructions at the top. Anyone else done it?

Boom. Got the Algebraic keyword.

And there's me thinking I'd nailed it ages ago.
The Sum puzzle looks far too easy, so I and many other people have probably overlooked something there.

See that bloke that won? That's my old flatmate and current quiz boss that is.
