CONUNDRUM game
Posted: Thu Oct 31, 2013 7:42 pm
by JackHurst
Simple game. At any time there are 3 unsolved conundrums. Post to solve 1 2 or all 3 of them, then at the end of the post update the list of unsolved conundrums by adding as many as is necessary of your own so that there are still 3 unsolved conundrums.
-No solving your own conundrums
-No using anagram solvers (unless you really insist)
-Conundrum shuffles/solutions are to be topical/funny.
I will start by adding some HALLOWEEN themed ones to the list:
HALLOWEEM
SCARYCASE
TODOGHOST

p.s. you can have LEFTALIGN as contextually relevant Graeme but must try harder on the other two! (or I am just too dumb to spot the links)
To be fair applies to lots of posters.

Well Gallifrey is Doctor Who's planet isn't it so that's topical? Dunno about HALFGLINT though.

Yep. In the case of HALFGLINT I thought the scramble was vaguely relevant to the solution. So think of it as being topical to itself.

Morrison had self-aggrandisingly made himself the topic of the thread and I topically incorporated that topic.

You didn't solve all three, because the solution to DONATECIN was actually CONTADINE. Bad luck.

Yeah Mark can sit with Thomas. Between them they have ruined the thread. Graeme and Gevin are the only ones coming out smelling of roses.
