A record max for a 9 round game, with two nines and three eights. Yet I struggled to a 70-67 over Ben Pugh after he blobbed both numbers games due to a fault with the interface. In fairness we both got the nines and I would've posted 92 against a weaker opponent, but it was still a waste of an opportunity.

That's not too bad - all the bots have been seriously beefed up on the numbers games. I'm pretty sure I've seen both Waldorf and Caesar post perfect Numbers Attack games in recent days and even Prune isn't a complete pushover any more. In fact, Prune beat my sorry ass at a Hyper Numbers Attack last night; I was terrible, but even if I'd been playing reasonably well I'd probably still have lost.

Not sure whether this is scrag or 'foaming at mouth pissed-off-edness', largely because I had OUTREACHES wrongly disallowed which affected the scoreline. I suppose the moral of the story is 'don't play hyper'.

A definite scrag in this one: http://www.apterous.org/viewgame.php?game=23614

I should have been on 75 points after nine rounds, including stupidly throwing away a nine with a bad decision (not going for RESECTION). A further three maxes missed with timidity (KINGLESS) or just plain stupidity (VIDEOES), and I went on to lose the bloody thing!

This might be a trifle unfair to put this in here on behalf of Simon but in round 4 I screamed for a final C for COUNTDOWN. Simon didn't spot it and the rare opportunity went past. To date no letters game has had COUNTDOWN as a max.

Almost one of the greatest comebacks in history, but failing to get the conundrum meant instead it's just a big pile of gash :(

55-7 down after 6 rounds :(

I don't think I've ever been more annoyed playing countdown than after I threw this one away. Even did a little fist pump after I "solved" the conundrum.

Nooooooooooo, just bottled the chance to rack up an absolutely titanic speedgoat score. Brain completely froze when I had to pick in rd 10, spotted UMLAUT in rd 12 only to belatedly realise I'd picked the wrong letter, somehow convinced myself 33*25 equalled 725 and then topped it all off with a ludicrous guess at the goatundrum :(

Kill me now! Losing to Apterous Nude! :(
I know I've got a stinking cold, hence I chose Nude rather than Waldorf, but crap:

Unusual for Nude to get a 9 though.

I had 7 consecutive words disallowed across two games:

The last four rounds of this game: (for some reason my failed conundrum guess didn't show up)

And the first four of this:

I'm going to propose this as my worst performance ever. Ironically, the previous game between us finished 125 - 106.

Velvet is far too good for his rating. I've just been destroyed. He kept me to my lowest score for bloody ages. I missed a few bits but came out with some nice spots and still get whooped. I got the conundrum just after he buzzed too. I hate playing bots (you'll notice I'm not on the frequency page for bot-playing)

I also missed a nickname that some kids gave me in another school in round 11.

Eh, after multiplying by 16 didn't work I noticed that you have a 7, the target ends in 7, and that you have a 10. It was fortunate that the rest worked out but obviously it's going to differ from person to person.

No offense, but yeah you were shit. ODONTAL is the word Richard Brittain had disallowed against Corby, an RICIER is a common one (valid in Scrabble, I think). Remember that RICIEST^ = ERISTIC.
