Definately a huge scalp for me, considering its the only win I've got against him in 76 attempts! I thought the only way I could ever beat him was if we got to the conundrum with me ahead and he did'nt get it....

Pretty sweet unlimited 51 rounder. The first 8 rounds were all maxes and then it went a bit downhill from there...

Ooh and official thread of brag lol - great place to submit my 50th post

Finally registered and played it last weekend and got 20 odd games under my belt. No max scores but a win against Nebagram, a double one against Jim Bentley, beating Jimmy Gough and trying Goatdown for the 1st time and winning a few (Goatdown is awesome!) plus a narrow defeat against Junaid.

Seriously addictive stuff Apterous, with a naff PC I can't play on it - think I need a new hard drive so you probably won't see me on it till I'm next at my folks which will probably be in a couple of months.

It doesn't compare to the standard of the top players round here, but I was well pleased with this standard 15-rounder, where I had to pull out a personal best 12 maxes just to make certain of beating a seriously in-form Plum. I wasn't expecting Plum to play quite as solidly as that?!

If I hadn't got the (relatively easy) conundrum so quickly, I could've been beaten with 11 maxes...

...I know it's only junior, but even so, my first "Rex on a Stick" took me 35 attempts.

As there was no way I could solve the conundrum in less than Rex's normal time of 0.7 seconds, I had adopted the tactic of randomly clicking the middle letter as soon as it appeared... and on this occasion, I finally got the correct letter.
