Aptochat Abuse

There was a guy a while ago in chat (I forget his username) who was launching off all kinds of homophobic/racist abuse, obviously just trying to get a rise from the other users (which he largely failed in doing). Anyway, I of course had his IP address on record, so I fired off a complaint to his ISP and got an email a week later saying they'd "dealt with" it. Possibly this means they did nothing at all, but possibly the parents of some sex-starved teenage boy were rather angry at the purpose to which their Internet connection was being put... I suspect most such sex-starved teenage boys would rather not find out whether the latter is in fact the case.

Point is, I intend to make this a matter of policy in the future, so please refer anyone doing something similar to this post. Luckily it doesn't happen much, but I'll deal with it if it does.

Likewise if you, as a good aptocitizen, see any of this behaviour in chat, please just ignore the user and send me a link to the relevant chatlog (or time/date if you don't have chatlog access).
