In a one-off game, I might think about it, but looking at your case where you have 100 games, I would pretty much look at the mean, because it would ultimately get you more money - not just in a mean sense but you would probably win more money. Yes, it did change at some point. If you go to Mike's page, he has a seeding list for each series and how it was calculated. But it's definitely number of wins first now.

I think it would be good to ask for three from one of the rows that isn't the top and then three from any other row of your choice. So Carol has to choose between three large or no large. Or two from a non-top row and four from any other one row.

Carol should also be horsewhipped for being pleased when the numbers game is piss-easy. She groans if the target is 101 and there is a 100 and a 1, but other than that she seems to prefer the easy games.
