When dictionary updates occur, pretty much instantly pencil upon pencil occurs. Are people genuinely learning and memorising these hundreds/thousands of new (often nonsensical) words, or are they printing off lists? Is it cheating if they are?

1) The song played at the start of Only Fools and Horses is a completely different song than the song played during the end credits

2) Americans don't say "and" when saying numbers (e.g they say "five hundred four thousand" instead of "five hundred and four thousand")

Dropped out of uni after 2 years, which probably subconsciously contributes to why I (possibly harshly) largely disregard academic qualifications when I recruit people.

Jodine would have taken me to a crucial playing along at home - 6 maxes (which is the same as she achieved when she lost on her first appearance), but I think that understates her performance. Will be interesting to see how she progresses.

He got caught cheating last year and has been banned for two years and had to give trophies back but not prize money AFAIK. I believe he repeatedly overdrew tiles and palmed or cherry picked them. Why on earth would they rig it so he "failed"? If Countdown did want to rig the show (which I am very sure they wouldn't anyway), surely they would have rigged it for him to break the record if anything as it would have given the show a nice publicity opportunity :roll:

I like Tom's reports and think I would miss them if they stopped. Oh, don't get me wrong, it's good that he comments nicely on the game in general terms and would encourage more people to do this - I just think that publicly displaying every day that he (more often than not) beats both players whil...
