Gev on the nail with the "pick from four" method - if every word has its definition listed too then it would be a simple "supply the correct definition, pick three random from the whole of the rest of the database, randomise order" for the computer. I think you'd have to be a bit smarter than this....

And we're done! We're now hosted with 5quidhost. Hopefully no one will notice the difference, although the site should be fractionally faster and more reliable.

CDB has moved from http://www.apterous.org/cdb to http://cdb.apterous.org. The old pages will redirect to the new ones so nothing should break, but if you're linking to the old addresses, it's worth changing now.

At the moment it just gives a list of films. Looks like it's working to me. Link? It's working now, but it was http://apterous.org/ Oh right, I forget that some people still go there even though it just redirects you to www.apterous.org. I imagine it was related to me moving cdb to cdb.apterous.org.

They told me that it would only activate in sync when Nick presses the conundrum scramble reveal button and wouldn't have any effect before that I was told the same thing, but I was pretty doubtful that it was true because the buzzers are so low tech, so I quizzed whoever it was (can't remember now...
