Watched two in-flight movies this week.
"First Man", the Neil Armstrong biopic was very good, and I can recommend it.
"Widows" based on the Lynda La Plante novel/mini-series, started off well, but the final twists were a bit preposterous.

I am told by people who have worked in restaurants that 10% is far more than the average tip. My own experience of eating out with other people and splitting the bill would also suggest that 10% is considered overly generous by many people.

I would probably tip Β£4 on that bill, but like Gavin, I hate the concept of tips. I usually aim for 10%, but might only leave Β£45 on a Β£41 bill, for instance. I agree that George Carlin's comedy has aged much better than Richard Pryor's, but when Pryor came along no-one had done stand up like that. Maybe he gets too much credit, but I've never laughed as much as I did when I first saw "Richard Pryor Live".
