In my view the best contestant throughout a series in terms of consistency is Craig; the best performance is Paul Gallen in the CofC; and, I reckon young Travers has a genuine shot of being the current strongest player. ...

If you're going by what they were like when they were on the show I fail to see on what basis you could place Conor as high as 2nd. I know from one of the computer simulations I just did, the only two words I knew the meaning of in the whole games were REPULSE and EX! All of the other ones were obscure. I vaguely recall that if you sit in the challenger's chair you can see the number she's putting up that would be otherwise obscured by her on the monitor or your view from the champion's chair. Yea I thought the timing was weird when I was filming, everytime after the last letters in part 2 (ie round 9) I'd get a clear sheet of paper and get poised for the numbers... then of course instead of the numbers it was the origin of words bit which kinda interrupted the game.

I got 994 going this way (this tends to be one of the first routes I try):

25*50 = 1250

2*(75+3) = 156 + 100 = 256

1250 - 256 = 994

I'd be very surprised if a 4 from the top specialist didn't get 721 there, it's the obvious route to go when you know you can get 725 just by using the 4 large via 25*25 + 100.

No worries Soo, we can all learn together, and then post it in this thread. Despite repeatedly checking the "log me in automatically" box as well, I keep finding that not only does it not log me in automatically, but also seems to randomly log me out mid-session from time to time.... Ouch...

Aye I remember MODDING getting disallowed, isn't allowed in Scrabble either where the dictionary covers a lot more words - pretty farcical really.
