Season 4 of Black Mirror is awesome so far ( on Episode 4 ) Hang the DJ being the best, almost a companion piece to San Juipiero.
Arkangel being the weakest but still miles better than most things I've watched in recent months.

The quality of music and lyrics in general are awful at the moment. But as I grew up in the sixties I'm kind of entitled to say that.

Still Watching Black Mirror from start to finish.
Current Favourite is Playtest although I'm still only half way through season 3.....worst one is easily that Waldo Moment.....you could tell it was a rejected idea from Nathan Barley but it was still worth watching though

Favourite so far is San Junipero inspite of the unusual ending for a Black Mirror episode

Yes, but I'd disagree that it just gets better and better.
Well to qualify my statement, I think Season 4 is getting better and better.
I know the 12 days of Christine from Season 2 is the best ever episode.

Just watched Downsizing, in spite of the mauling by the critics.
I really enjoyed it,it was well thought out and I thought the Thai actress playing the Vietemise girl was a breath of fresh air.
Also just seen the Shape of Water. Very good retelling of beauty and the beast.

I know pigeonholing genders is frowned upon in the 21st century but in my experience, women are far more likely to embrace Christmas early and are usually better at putting the tree deccies up.

Just watched two good films, Marjorie Prime, a cerebral Sci-fi about the human condition, and Mudbound an excellent adaption of the book by Hillary Jordan. Excellent acting all round, could be Netflix first best picture Oscar

Waitrose seem to have the best range of quality vegetarian products in a high street supermarket. The Higgidy range is good and their newest chicken tikka masala is the best meat substitute curry I've tasted. My father in law has recently been diagnosed with gout so he can't eat most meats so whenev...

Just a personal view. Can't give up meat due to the smell and taste of bacon.

The ending is fine.
The concept of an ambiguous or unclear denouement is always a good talking point for the end of a movie.
Inception being one that springs to mind
