(25 x 3) - (4 x 3) = 63 63 x 10 - 3 = 627 Got this in about 6 seconds at work in front of a crowd of people. They said I should go on the show... After 63 x 10 you only have a 1 left to play with, of course you can simplify out the common x 3 ( 25 x 3 ) - (4 x 3 ) becomes ( 25 - 4 ) x 3 This is the...

I never worked out the rule for when you can and can't add "IEST", GORSY is specified in the dic.

My post didn't appear before for some reason. Anyone else had this trouble?

Anyway here's a more intuitive R14. I found this way easier anyhow.

75 - 5 = 70
9 - 4 = 5 multiply = 350 - 8

Re: Spoilers for Friday, 18th April

Personally, I've always preferred 3 vowels in 80% of cases, but that's more how I like to work, and always leave it til the last letter before deciding. I presume then that you never opt for 5 vowels? I did notice that on all rounds on Friday, the three vowels were chosen during the first 7 letters...

I'm just amazed, knowing we don't have game shows like that around here. It requires intellect. American TV companies seem to think anything that requires intellect wouldn't be suitable for a US audience, so I've been told. Though "The Big Bang Theory" has apparently done quite well, so w...

Friday 4th April 2008

Hiyo,

I'm disappearing for a week or so on Friday. This means I won't be around for reviewing purposes.

My plan as it stands it to post the review over a week after the game, when I return. However if it appears by someone elses hand in the meantime that's fine by me.

I spotted it many moons ago while wondering if PHALL was in... being an insanely hot curry that brings a whole new meaning to the Johnny Cash song "ring of fire" the following morning.
